Privacy Policy — Invinote

This Privacy Policy describes how Invinote Digital Invitations ("Invinote", "we", "us"), operated by Voma Ventures — the entity that also processes payments and is a party to every transaction on the platform — collects, uses, shares and protects information when couples create wedding invitations on our platform and when their guests interact with those invitations.

1. Information we collect

Couple data: names, wedding date, story, photos, event/venue details, contact information, and template preferences that you enter into the editor.
Guest data: names, RSVP responses, dietary preferences, plus-one details, wishes, blessings and any photos or messages guests submit through your invitation.
Payment data: when you purchase a template, PDF add-on, or any future paid add-on, payments are processed by Voma Ventures (the entity operating Invinote) via its payment processor, which collects the payment information needed to complete the transaction. Charges appear as "Voma Ventures" on your bank or card statement. Invinote never stores full card numbers.
Account data: email, authentication identifiers, and order history for signed-in users.
Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and basic analytics needed to keep the service running securely.

2. How we use information

To render your invitation, deliver RSVPs and wishes to you, and provide the features you've purchased.
To process payments, apply coupons, and send transactional confirmations.
To operate, secure and improve the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
To contact you about your order or important service updates.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with (a) service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, database, email, payment processing), under contractual confidentiality; (b) the couple who owns the invitation, for guest submissions made through that invitation; and (c) authorities when required by law.

4. Guest data & the couple's role

When a guest submits an RSVP, wish, dua, memory or photo through an invitation, the couple who created that invitation acts as the primary controller of that content. Invinote processes it on their behalf. Guests can ask a couple to remove their submission, or contact us and we will assist.

5. Retention

Invitation content is retained while the couple's account is active. You can request deletion of your invitation and associated guest submissions at any time by contacting us. We keep order and payment records for as long as legally required.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport, access controls and row-level security on our database — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and keep your edit links private.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (e.g. dismissed promo strips), and understand aggregate usage.

9. Children

Invinote is intended for adults planning weddings. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Guest photos submitted by adults may include minors; the couple is responsible for obtaining any necessary consents.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the site or by email where appropriate.
